At the Beach / Summer - Tangram Patterns & Coördinate Graphing

Coordinatenstelsel / Assenstelsel - Aan zee / Zomer

  

Met behulp van kleurpotloden of stiften en een kleurcode maken de leerlingen een tekening op een raster van 19x19 vakjes. Op de horizontale as heb ik letters gebruikt en op de verticale as nummers : (A,5).  Voor leerlingen die voor het eerst werken met een cartesisch coördinatenstelsel is dit minder verwarrend als de gebruikelijke notatie van het coördinatenpaar : (1,5).

Afbeeldingen: 6 - Jongen, vis, zandkasteel, zeemeeuw, krab en meisje.

Niveaus: 5 - Oplopend in moeilijkheidsgraad van kleuren op nummer tot een afbeelding die volledig is opgebouwd uit coördinaten.

De titel van de werkbladen is in het Engels. De opdrachten zelf zijn niet taalgebonden.

Coordinate Graphing - At the Beach / Summer

The activities require students to use the grid code / coloring directions and crayons or markers to create various images on a 19x19 grid. I have used letters on the horizontal axis and numbers on the vertical axis to introduce young students to coordinate pairs without the confusion of the standard (h,v) format.
