Here's another Valentine's Day Activity! This resource contains 4 worksheets with a grid and 1 page with 8 puzzles. First students have to use the drawing directions to create a tangram. Then they can cut out the pieces and try to solve the puzzles. 

 Also included are the answer keys of the grids and the puzzles.

Grid 1 = Heart 1, horizontal axis = letters, vertical axis = numbers
Grid 2 = Heart 2, horizontal axis = letters, vertical axis = numbers
Grid 3 = Heart 1, horizontal axis = numbers, vertical axis = numbers

Valentine's Day - Heart Tangram Patterns

Happy Valentine's Day! These are two step by step drawing lessons on how to construct a heart shaped tangram and unique patterns.

First students have to construct a heart shaped tangram. Then they cut the puzzle pieces apart, rearrange them and construct their own unique tangram pattern.

After the students are finished, they can swap their own unique tangram pattern with other students and try to solve each other’s pattern.
